The Sunday Service

Sunday Service for Women

A virtual experience. Begins January 2021.

Women,

Now is the time. We are being called to get up off the floor, embrace our grief and worry, and source strength from our truth.

Now is the time to stand up, even when it feels hard, and find breath amidst the chaos.

It is time to become the leader you already are, to breathe love and compassion into your community, and use your voice to remind others of their strength.

We are being called to fight for those who need us, to claim hope in despair, and to sing and dance even when we can’t hear the music.

We are being called to remember who we truly are. Strong, soft, fierce, loving, sacred, divine beings who already know the way.

We are being called to open to receive. To let others hold us when we break, and to let them see our tears.

We know that strength lies in our own vulnerability.

Now is the time to get quiet. To hear your own heartbeat. To listen from within, and to trust your inner knowing.

We are being called to honor our deepest truth and to forge a new way forward.

xx, Michelle Long

The Service

After this year, things will never be the same. We have experienced grief, worry, and loss in ways that will change us forever. There is a lot to process and make sense of.

Because of this, a new way of living is being born. We are adapting to a new normal and forging a new way forward. We are rediscovering who we are.

So, we need each other. We are all in this together, and together we will get up off the floor and find our way out of the dark.

Sunday Service for Women is a sacred touch point where we can come together and remember. We will get quiet, hear our own voice, listen to each other, and dive underneath the surface of chaos. We will uplift, connect, reclaim, and refuel. We will inspire each other to step more fully into who we truly are. When we do this in numbers, we are a force of strength.

Through guided meditation, silence, connection, and good conversation, we will remember who we truly are.

The Invitation

This is an invitation to ALL women, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and daughters. You are invited to invite all the women in your life to join you in this sacred gathering. We are strength numbers. When we gather together, young and old, we reconnect with our truth and remember what it means to be supported in community. So bring everyone you know, and enjoy special time with your loved ones.

let's get to know each other

Why I left the Bay Area

This is a personal story about listening to my inner call and making a huge life change.

This piece is really intimate...

A letter home to my mother.

A reflection on 2020, living with chronic illness, and surviving the pandemic.

May we find the courage to break old patterns and put ourselves first in service of those we love and the world we live in.
